Our A-Tune© AFM-chip is simply the most advanced AFM chip on the market, period. We did not purposefully limit or leave out any of the advanced features. Instead we packed nearly every superior feature found in M-Tune©, but directed to those who wish to retain the stock Air Flow Meter. Whats more, is that our A-Tune© solution provides a clear path for those who want to upgrade to MAF later. Not only do we discount A-Tune© owners who upgrade, but the 3Bar MAP sensor and the chipboard are the same; you already have some M-Tune© hardware installed! A quick look at the features:
Note - All of our Tunes require a 28pin DME. See this page for conversion information.

The stock AFM is aging, and is no longer perfectly accurate. This is an overlay of seven different 951 AFMs; all of these AFMs came from running vehicles:
Because of the variance with the AFMs, we suggest a Wide Band O2 be used to check air-fuel ratios whenever boost is raised above stock. Small changes via the FQS switch may be necessary due to AFM inaccuracy/inconsistency.
"Hey Joshua,
Just wanted to drop a note to let you know how pleased I am with your A-Tune. As you know, my car is fairly basic engine-wise (3" exhaust, TiAL wastegate, MBC set to ~14psi) and switching from my old Weltmeister chip to your A-Tune was nothing short of night-and-day difference. The car is deceptively quick - doesn't FEEL as violent but the speedo climbs at a MUCH quicker rate and with incredible smoothness. The car feels more like it just has a larger motor rather than your typical lag-filled 80s turbo car. Part-throttle response and low-mid range power have also improved substantially (this and the smoothness are IMO the best parts of your tune.) For as much as people tend to bash the stock AFM, I never knew the car could behave like this! And all for the same price point as pretty much every other chip on the market make this setup a STEAL.
Very happy - thanks again,"

"When I first started with the A-Tune, I was coming from Vitesse chips, a Lindsey stg II intercooler, and a Tial wastegate. When Josh asked if I would like to try something new, a MAP sensor in the car so that my DME would understand boost, I thought why not? Honestly I was not expecting there to be a change in performance at all. I was expecting similar numbers to what I had with the Vitesse setup. I then took the car for my first drive after installing the A-tune and I couldn't believe what my car was doing. I was able to hit boost much quicker - my car was more alive than I had ever seen! The boost would spool faster, the throttle response had improved dramatically, and I was happier than I had been in a long time with the way my car was running. If you are looking for a mild, easy upgrade but still retaining the airbox and AFM, then the A-Tune should be first on your list of considerations."
